First M6 Roll

First M6 Roll

This weekend I got my first roll back that I shot with my new to me Leica M6 Classic (It's actually not the first roll I shot with it, just the first roll I've had developed and scanned).

I'm pretty happy with how most of these turned out. Portra 400 definitely earning its reputation for colors in a few of them in my opinion.

These are just vignettes from daily life around town, and then some family candids (subscribers only for privacy).

I've been trying to challenge myself to find vignettes in daily life and improve my composition. Most of these shots are of things I've seen hundreds of times just walking around the neighborhood, so finding ways to make them feel worth photographing is an interesting assignment.

I have some trips coming up, so there will be some more opportunities to shoot stuff that's not so familiar, which is always more inspiring.

Up next: I sent about 8 rolls of medium format I shot ~5 years ago and never developed into the lab for processing and scanning, along with 3-4 other rolls of stuff I've shot recently. Hoping to get that back this week and really excited to see what came out.

Anyway, all of these are shot on the M6 / Portra 400 with the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f 1.5 or the Voigtlander Ultron 35mm f2. Really loving these Voigtlander lenses.
